When Penelope ran out of her house and wanted to have the freedom, that part was one of my favorite parts for me. Because of her parents’ overprotection, she could not do anything. Even though, she had the complex of her face I was impressed when she determined to go out of the world. If I were her I would not go out and I might commit suicide. I want to praise about her courage.

When she refused to have her wedding, that scene was the other favorite part for me. At that moment, I was glad to hear about her opinion. It s because she usually had no choice about her opinion and she always had to follow what her parents says. Despite of her mothers’ insistence, she could express her thoughts in front of many people. Through these situations, I could notice her personality. That is why these two parts were my favorite parts.

When I watched this movie, I was able to predict that this story will be the happy ending because the story was too obvious. Even though the story was too obvious, it was not boring because it showed our society’s problems through this movie. In my opinion, this movie wants to tell its viewers “do not judge people by their appearance and see their personalities” and “always be confident with your-self.” It is really important thing to see people’s personalities because the personality can change your life. Even if you are a good-looking person eventually, you will have wrinkles and be a grandmother or grandfather. Appearance does not last for a long time. Nowadays, people are depending on their beauty, so some of them spend lots of money to become beautiful or handsome such as having a cosmetic surgery, buying cosmetic products and so on. In my opinion, the producers made this film to criticize our society and it really affected my mind.

              Honestly, I did not change a lot by watching this movie, but I realized my selfishness. I used to judge people’s faces all the time but I will try to change about doing this bad thing. I really want to apologize to people who I criticized about their faces.

I was expecting that Steve Jobs who was the president of Apple Company would die but when it came true, I was kind of shocked. In addition, the new product has not come out yet, but he passed away already. Jobs spent fifty-six years of his life which I think is very short but it was so dramatic, adventurous and fruitful. He contributed a lot of innovations.

When I watched the video “Steve Jobs speech in 2005 at Standford University” in our English class,Actually, I was not really interested about his life and I did not want to watch the video and I just thought that ' Of course he is rich so that is why he can do a good speech and can have a good opportunity.' I have never thought that he had a hard time with his life. However, when he started to do his speech I was surprised because it made me concentrate on that video.  He talked about his life and hardships.  He was born in 1955 and he was actually adopted by other parents. When he was in college he figured out that his parents spent all money for him so he decided to quit school.  After that, he tried to make a company with other people but it was not successful but he did not give up and he just thought that it was a challenge for him so he tried harder and harder. In my opinion, the reason why he was successful is because he was optimistic. I felt ashamed of myself and I thought if all of us think like him, I think most of us can be successful in our lives.

             According to his speech, he mentioned that “Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”

         “Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”  These two parts were the most impressive parts when I heard his speech. I think they are the lesson for people. When I heard his speech I was just impressed and I could not say anything.

        After watching this video, I realized that I am the one making my life not other people.I must not be affected by negative things around me.I must always think of positive results in everything I do. Today, I tried to think about myself if i am spending my time wisely. When he mentioned, " Do not waste your life " that time was the most memorable for me. However, I do not agree all things about his life. It is because he was too EXTREMELY positive. When he got fired from Apple Company, he said that that time was the best moment in his life. I am not too positive as him. I just want to be realistic but I want to emulate his enthusiasm.

I pray for the repose of the soul of Steve Jobs

My Project

I had the project which was making a brochure about our school's services. I chose the canteen because in my opinion, it is the most popular place in our school. Most students go there at recess time and have some break time!
I had a hard time to make this brochure.................!!! It put a lot of efforts.....
